RPG/GAWCO Coronavirus Update
Safety is our number one core value, and we are unwavering in our dedication to our employees and our clients as our projects are continuing in support of the national security and essential critical infrastructure of the United States during the Coronavirus Crisis. Ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees who are part of the RPG/GAWCO family is our number one priority as we navigate the uncharted territory of this pandemic.
We are monitoring the situation on an ongoing basis and will communicate any changes in workplace policy as more information becomes available.
We are implementing measures to protect the health and well-being of our employees and to stop the spread of Coronavirus on RPG/GAWCO projects and within our offices. In addition to the RPG/GAWCO COVID 19 Coronavirus Plan, we are working in close partnership with our clients to implement their prevention & control procedures at the site level. Please speak to your immediate supervisor for additional information regarding this constantly developing situation. For any other questions about our company Coronavirus Plan, you may reach out the RPG/GAWCO Human Resources Department.
Employees with company-sponsored health insurance who have questions regarding symptoms, where to go to get care and what your plan covers, call the number on the back of your medical ID card. You may also visit the BCBS dedicated blog (www.bluecrossnc.com/coronavirus) for more information including how to request a remote MD visit, which is covered at the same rate as a regular office visit.
Also, we encourage all employees to read the following information from the Department of Labor: (https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/WHD/posters/FFCRA_Poster_WH1422_Non-Federal.pdf)
Finally, as the status of the Coronavirus pandemic continues to change, we recommend checking the CDC website regularly for updates: www.cdc.gov/coronavirus.
We are encouraged by the many ways—large and small—our employees and our clients have already worked to stop the spread of coronavirus in our homes and workplaces. For your continued care, cooperation and dedication to the well-being of our communities, our workforce and our country, we’d like to say:
Thank you, and stay safe!
